Save 2 Lives Premier!

Mikes face on the screen as he talks about the Plight of the Pitbulls. He came accross very well.

Dutchess always steals the show! She was a true shining "star" at Yappy Hour!

Mike and I didn't know what to expect because we had never been to The Landing before. We couldn't even begin to imagine it. We were so anxious, not knowing where we were going as we walked down the long alley of storefronts. All we knew was that we were about to see the documentary that was done just for Mikes Dog House for the first time.
As we landed in the center of activity, we saw a great fountain that dogs and kids could actually play in. There was every kind of people with every kind of dog you could imagine. What a sight! As we stood there marveling at what a great place this was, one familiar face after the other approached and soon we were all together smiling and laughing as our Bullys frolicked and met other dogs.
I must say that of all the dogs there, our Pitty Pats were the best behaved.we were so proud of our three.
That made a grand statement about our beloved Pitbulls. And we plan to attend Yappy Hour on a regular basis every month to make sure that positive image gets out there! yeah!
We want to take this opportunity to say a great big "Thank You" to Layla and Scott Smith, Champ Kaufmann, Linda Bevilacqua, Rita Manyette, Lauren Evans, Aaron E. Tucker, Dave Anthony, Rahman Johnson, Johnny Mac, Savannah LeNoble, Vadie Jewell, John Jewell, Joshua Jewell, Noah Jewell, Shawn Jewell, Dave Doerr, Larry Motes, Shawn LeNoble, Oscar Rabiero and Victor Rossi!

You guys were awesome!

It was Love at First Sight for Ziggy and His New Mom.

Here's the letter we received from Ziggy's new Mommy:

I've been meaning to send these to you for a long time, but I didn't have a camera and I do not have a computer with internet at my house. Ziggy Marley is the most wonderful dog on the face of the earth. I am so lucky to have found him. Thank you so much for letting me adopt this beautiful boy. We go on 2 mile walks 5 days a week and he gets all the treats and toys he can handle. I just love him so much and I don't know what I would do if I didn't have him in my life. Thank you once again for everything and letting this wonderful boy come and be the love of my life.

Thank you so much,
Amanda Sweat

Maya got her Forever Home!!

As you may already know, Maya was adopted by her new family back in July!

Her new family is Naomi and her son, Austin. Naomi is in Navy & her son Austin is very happy to have a new sister! Maya loves Austin and tucks him in to bed each night. She treats him as if he were one of her own puppies!

The other day, Naomi emailed us to let us know how Maya is fitting in to her new home. And, also, to let us know that Maya has a new name, Momma Mia! Maya doesn't mind, she's just happy to have a comfy home with a loving family to live her happily ever after! Please see Naomi's Love Letter below:

Hi Mike and Goldie,

Well let me just say I could not have been paired up with a better dog than the beautiful family member you guys allowed me to have.

I would like to call her a couch potato, but she is so well behaved she does not get on the furniture. So she spends most of the day sprawled out on the hardwood floors in the central A/C until I come home and we go for a walk, which she is usually beat by the end of.

This little lady is incredible. I have not crated her and she hasn't chewed a single thing, hasn't had an accident in the house, and only does her business in one corner of the yard.

At night, and I dont know if you can believe this, but she lays at the foot of my sons bed, on the floor, until he is sleeping, and then, and only then will she come to my bedroom to sleep at the foot of my bed on the floor.

She is always so happy and loving, a little bundle of joy.

So how is this possible? Is it too good to be true?...No.

I believe my honesty about what I wanted in a dog, and what kind of life-style I live is a direct reflection of why me, and my family and the dog are so happy.

And I think that people need to understand this, and also know what an awesome job you guys are doing.

I don't know what you guys are doing or what you are putting in the water there at Mikes Dog House ...but you put out a perfectly well balanced loving compassionate Bully breed.....because they are such an "aggressive" breed....haaa! I have met chihuahuas meaner than my new family pet!

It was the greatest $200 ever spent! I cannot thank you guys enough.....and whoever is too cheap to pay that is ridiculous...its a nominal fee for the awesome dog they will get from you guys.

Sorry it took so long to send a picture, my phone would not send the pic. You are more than welcome to post this on your website if you like....but you might want to proof read..I can't spell.

Thank you two for the wonderful doggie and please keep doing what you're doing!!!!

Love,

Naomi, Austin, and Momma Mia
